Chief Litigation Counsel Alexander Penalta, an accomplished attorney and chief litigation counsel, is licensed to practice law in Florida and Washington, D.C., with extensive experience in civil, criminal, and administrative law. Mr. Penalta  has 30 plus years of litigation experience with a focus on administrative law, aviation, animal law, aquatics, and business compliance, offering services related to litigation, licensing investigations, and regulatory compliance. Senior Associate Attorney, Gabrielle Alexa Penalta obtained her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad College of Law in Davie, Florida. In law school, she served on the Moot Court Society and competed in the Dean Jerome Prince Memorial Evidence Moot Court Competition in Brooklyn, NY. She also received the Second-Best Brief Award in Nova's Upperclassman Moot Court Competition. Additionally, she was President of Nova's Animal Law club, Director of Public Relations for the Hispanic Student Bar Association, Community Service Co-Chair for the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and a Law School Ambassador for the College of Law admissions. She received an Excellence in Pro Bono Award for completing more than 75 pro bono service hours while in law school.

During law school, Ms. Penalta held summer internships with the Honorable Judge Robert Diaz, 17th Judicial Circuit, and the State of Florida, Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Office of General Counsel.   

Prior to law school, she obtained her Bachelor of Science at the University of Florida, majoring in Animal Science and minoring in Innovation. She was in the inaugural class of the Innovation Academy at the University of Florida. The exclusive minor curriculum focused on ethics, creativity, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and leadership.

Ms. Penalta began her legal career as an attorney at a civil litigation firm practicing general litigation and intellectual property. In her last year at the firm, she directed the intellectual property department and litigated cases filed throughout the country. She also practiced at a large insurance defense firm focusing on general liability, automotive negligence, and premises liability. 

Ms. Penalta is a native Floridian, born in Daytona Beach. She attended St. Ann Catholic School in West Palm Beach and St. Joan of Arc Catholic School in Boca Raton, and graduated high school from Saint John Paul II Academy. Outside of work, Ms. Penalta enjoys spending time outdoors, with her family, or volunteering with animals.

Nino Davila has served as Of Counsel for over 30 years. Licensed to practice in Illinois only and before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Davila is an American Trial Lawyer born in Mexico City and is a graduate of Washburn University of Topeka School of Law in Kansas. Mr. Davila maintains a family practice, serving the community,  handling contracts, real estate and insurance, divorce, civil, criminal and immigration law Mr. Davila is fluent in Spanish.
